Upazila Statistical Office, Ramganj, Lakshmipur is an excellent government office updated in National Web-Portal. National Web-Portal plays an important role in bringing civic services to people's doorsteps. But citizen service delivery is often hampered due to lack of regular updating of information by most of the government departments. In that case, the Upazila Statistical Office, Ramganj, Lakshmipur is an exception. Mr. Mir an-Nazmus Sakib, the Statistical Officer of this office updated the necessary information of the office immediately after his joining, under the direct supervision and guidance of the Joint Director (AC) of Divisional Statistical Office, Chattogram Mr. Mohammad Wahidur Rahman, Deputy Director (In-Charge) of District Statistical Office, Lakshmipur Mr. Goutam Krishno Paul and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Ramganj, Lakshmipur Mrs. Most. Sharmin Islam at that time.

The updating of National Web-Portal falls under the responsibility of the head of office. However, when a department's information remains out of date in the web-portal for a long time, it becomes difficult for the public to access the service. When a newly inducted officer updates it in a few days and opens the doors of civic services to all in a new guise, it certainly deserves appreciation.
